Company Updates: January 2022

1.Mandatory COVID Vaccines for all of our staff

We have been in communication with Leeds City Council and they have informed us that all of our workforce must have received at least 1 dose of the vaccine by the beginning of February and the second dose by the beginning of April. This will mean that any staff who may refuse to get vaccinated will no longer be able to work for us and we will not be able to accept any applications from people who have not had the vaccine.

Most of our staff have already had both doses and even a booster jab so this will not make any difference to our workforce.

2.End of International Recruitment

We recently launched our international recruitment drive so we could give applicants a work permit. This post attracted large amounts of attention and we have now successfully filled the position. This means that all international recruitment is put on hold for the minute until we are seeking new staff. We expect the position will be reopened in 3-6 months. We are still accepting applications at the minute but there will be a significant delay in our response time. 3.New office positions available

With our workload constantly increasing we are now hiring for two new office positions Care Coordinator and a Business Administration Apprentice role. Both the job descriptions are now live on the website so should you wish to find out more, please follow the links!

4.Recruitment for Home Care Workers

Although our international recruitment is currently on hold, we are still actively seeking out more Home Care Workers. No experience is required and we offer full training to all candidates before they begin work. To learn more please visit our vacancies section on the website.

5.Changes to Government COVID Restrictions

Although the Government has now stated masks are no longer mandatory to be worn in public, we are still highlighting to our staff that mask wearing is crucial when supporting our vulnerable clients. Our staff will still be wearing full PPE at all times when in our clients homes to ensure the safety of both our staff and clients. We have also asked staff to complete daily lateral flow tests before they attend work to make sure COVID is not spread. Staff also still complete their weekly PCR tests. We have seen a rapid increase in COVID rates in the city and are currently doing everything that we can to ensure both our staff and clients remain COVID-free.

6.Social Media

We are now more active on our Social Media accounts and aim to post at least once a week where we can so make sure to follow us on Facebook,Instagram,Twitter and even LinkedIn for our regular updates!
